Tejamani Fall 2010 - Interview with designer Marisol Henriquez

So 5th Avenue's Maureen Schreyer speaks with Marisol Henriquez after viewing Fall 2010 Show. Marisol is from the Dominican Republic and was introduced to the fashion industry in 1989. She is hailed by Dominican fashion critics as the "Handcraft Designer" - through use of the "Tejamani" - which is a technique of intertwining by hand fibers, fabrics and ribbons by hand to create a style that is said to represent vibrancy and individuality. This collection shown on Valentine's Day exuded sensuality and romanticism - silk, crepe, chiffons.. the palette of colors used were white, black, gold, animal prints and a show stopping red. http://www.marysuninternational.com/
